Edna Marie Farmer Asher, 70, of Cranks, went to sleep in Jesus on Friday, October 11, 2019, at her residence. Born July 2, 1949 in Teetersville, KY, Edna was a homemaker and believed in the Church of Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Austin Farmer and Stella Hall Farmer.

She is survived by her husband, Woodrow Thomas Asher, Cranks; four children, John Henry Skidmore and wife Sheryl, Cranks; Stella Skidmore, Texas; Mark Skidmore, Kentucky and Jamie Smith, Harlan; one brother, Eugene Farmer, Harlan; also surviving are several grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2019, at the Asher Cemetery in Red Bird with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
