Albert Bruce Saylor, 71, of Coldiron passed away Sunday, February 15, 2026, at the U.K. Medical Center with his family by his side. He was born on February 27, 1954 in Harlan County and was a retired coal miner. He enjoyed being a part-time fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Vergina Blevins Saylor; his parents, Lewis Saylor and Lillian Howard Saylor; one brother, Michael Saylor; one sister, Carolyn (Sis) Rogers; one brother-in-law, David Brewer; his mother and father-in-law, Nora and Frank Blevins.

Albert is survived by two sons, Jason Anthony Saylor, Coldiron and Brian Bruce Saylor, Coldiron; one sister, Jesse (Peachy) Saylor, Harlan; a special sister-in-law, Genese Brewer, and a special nephew, Adam Brewer; and a brother-in-law, Jimmy Rogers. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and dear friends.

His visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Wednesday, February 18, 2026, in the chapel of the Loyall Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon with Pastor John Neal officiating.

Burial will be in the Laymon Cemetery at Coldiron with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
