Anna Lois Eversole Hornsby, age 84 of Partridge, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, KY. She was born June 16, 1938 in Partridge to the late Robert Cecil and Callie Lewis Eversole. Anna had a long career in healthcare, she was a LPN at the Benham Hospital and then at the Lynch Clinic. She graduated in 1979 from the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital Professional diploma school of nursing.  She retired from Harlan ARH in 2003, after 24 years as a Registered Nurse. She loved spending time with each of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, her world revolved around her family. She attended the births of all of her grandbabies. Anna loved cooking big meals for her loved ones. She was a member of the Blair Pentecostal Church of God. She was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan, where she would record and watch the games without any interruptions.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Hornsby; her children, Jimmy "Bebo" Hornsby; Cheryl Hornsby; John Hornsby, a brother, JB Eversole; a sister, Ailene Boggs; grandson, Dustin Blair; and a son-in-law, Todd Blair.

Anna leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Sharon Blair; grandchildren, Chris Sellers (Daniella); Kevin Pennington; April Hornsby; Dylan Blair (Leanna); Kaley Pennington (Jessee); Trent Hornsby; great-grandchildren, Caleb and Katelyn Blair; Kayla Hill (Corey); Corey Hornsby (Erika); Chase Sellers; Jayanna Sellers; Jaylyn Pennington; Hunter, Harper and Hayden Blair; great-great-grandchildren, Eli, Jonah and Waylon Hill; Cayden, Weston and Madelyn Hornsby; sister-in-law, Pat Eversole, of Hebron, IN; daughters-in-law, Jody Hornsby; Joyce Childers;  granddaughters-in-law, Heather Blair Dixon and Tammy Sellers; also a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Her visitation will be Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 5 to 8 PM at Tri City Funeral Home. Her funeral will be Sunday, March 26, at 2 PM with the Reverend Philip Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Eversole Bowling Cemetery in Partridge, KY with her grandchildren serving as pallbearers.
