Anthony Wayne Cornett, Sr., 63, of Linefork passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025, at his home. He was born in Linefork on July 15, 1962 to the late Glenn and Grace Polly Cornett. He was a former coal miner.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a brother, Carlos Cornett; and a sister, Glendora Cornett.

He leaves to mourn his passing his son, Anthony Wayne Cornett, Jr., and wife, Crystal, of Henderson, KY; a brother, Charlie Cornett of Loyall; a sister, Tammy Wilson and husband, Dennis, of Cumberland; a granddaughter on the way; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 14, 2025, at the Linefork House of Prayer beginning at 5 pm until the funeral hour. His funeral service will be Friday at 1 pm at the church with Pastor Patrick Shepherd officiating. Interment will follow at the Cornett Family Cemetery at Linefork with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
