April Dawn Estep Barber being 43 years 8 months and 6 days young; our little girl went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 9, 2025, at the Pikeville Medical Center after a long illness. She was a member of the Blair Chapel Church and believed that Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents; Charlie and Alma Shepherd Day; Enoch and Opal Jean Sumpter Estep; two uncles, James Day and David Day; and an aunt, Sheila Goodwin.

She leaves behind to mourn her passing her two sons, Andrew and Aaron Barber of Cumberland; her mom and dad, Debbie and David Estep of Cumberland; one brother, Chris Estep and wife, Rachel Beth, of Knoxville, TN; two nieces, Skyler Estep of New York; and Abby Cate Estep of Knoxville, TN; one nephew, Grady Estep of Knoxville, TN; her ex-husband, Drew Barber of Cosby, TN; sister-in-law, Kristin Stewart and husband, Marshall, of Knoxville, TN; three aunts, Tammy Day  and Lilly of Cumberland; Sandra York and husband, Danny, of Beattyville, KY; and Sheila Collins of Stanton, KY; one uncle, Jackie Estep and wife, Tonya, of Winchester; and a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, other family and friends.

Visitation will be at the Blair Chapel Church on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, beginning at 12 pm until the funeral hour. Her funeral will begin at 4 pm with Brother Rod Raleigh officiating, Bill Maggard reading the obituary and her brother, Chris Estep speaking. Interment will follow at the Charlie Maggard Cemetery in Blair with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
