Arthur Lee Freeman,69, of Molus, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. He was born in Pineville, KY on February 17,1956 to the late Bert Freeman and the late Gathel Taylor Kelly. He had lived in Harlan county most of his life.

Arthur was a former coal miner with his last employer being Dotson Brothers Coal Company. Later in his life he started his own handy-man service working in several different areas. Arthur loved his family and loved spending time with them. He was one of the most kind hearted men that you would ever meet.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Freddie Freeman; and a brother-in-law, Buddy Watkins.

He leaves to mourn his passing three brothers; Jim Freeman and wife Judy, of Pathfork; Charles Mike Freeman and wife, Patty of Wallins; Carl Freeman and wife Rhonda, of Molus; three sisters, Sharon Thomas and husband James, of Cumberland; Clara Watkins of Pineville; and Mary Hall and husband Bobby, of Partridge.

Graveside services will be Monday, January 12, 2026 at 2 PM at the Speed Hensley Cemetery at Molus, with Rev. Odie Carroll officiating.
