Ashley Brockman
Toll
Jun 8, 1980 — Feb 20, 2026
Baxter
With deep sorrow and enduring love, we announce the passing of Ashley Denise Brockman Toll,
who was born in Hendersonville, TN, on June 8, 1980, and entered her heavenly home on
February 20, 2026.
Ashley was a beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished daughter, dear sister, and faithful friend.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bryan Toll; her precious children, Gwendolyn,
Josephine, Benjamin, Lillian, and Nathaniel, who were the greatest joy and purpose of her life;
her parents, Bobby and Betty Brockman; her sister, Melanie (Rodney) Shinbaum; her
grandmothers, Lois Banks and Louise Brockman; and a wide circle of family and friends who
were deeply touched by her life and love. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers,
Winfrey Banks and Robert Brockman.
Ashley lived with a radiant joy that was evident to all who knew her. From a young age, she had
a natural curiosity and joy in the world around her—a spirit she carried into adulthood, shaping
the way she loved, served, and experienced life. Her warm smile and gentle spirit drew people
in, and her life was marked by compassion, generosity, and a steadfast faith. Baptized in the
Church of the Nazarene at a young age, Ashley walked closely with Christ throughout her life,
expressing her faith not only in words but in action. She served others with humility and
purpose—through mission work, organizing volunteer teams, and through her work as a
licensed clinical social worker providing care and support, while quietly meeting the needs of
those around her.
Ashley was deeply committed to her calling to care for others. She earned her Bachelor of
Social Work from Olivet Nazarene University and her Master of Social Work from the University
of Kentucky. Through both her professional and personal life, she demonstrated a dedication to
strengthening families, uplifting communities, and serving those in need.
Above all, Ashley was a devoted mother and helpmate. Her heart was anchored in her family,
and she poured herself into raising her children with love, intention, and a deep foundation of
faith. Every day, she sought to reflect Christ's love in her home. Ashley found joy in life's simple
and beautiful moments—sunshine on her face, the laughter of her children, and time spent
outdoors. She loved making memories with her family, whether at Camp Nathanael, hiking
mountain trails, camping, or skiing together. She embraced adventure, treasured togetherness,
and lived each day with gratitude and purpose.
Ashley's life was a testament to love without bounds—a life fully given in service to God and to
others. Her legacy lives on in her children, her family, and in the countless lives she touched.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
