Barbara Mosley Fields, 84, of Benham, KY, was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world and gained her wings on Monday, November 7 ^, 2022.

She was born to Shelby and Zella Mosley on April 20, 1938 in Kettle Island, Bell County, Kentucky. After graduating from high school, Barbara was married to  Woodrow Fields for 65 years, and raised two sons. Her son, Shelby, with wife, Debbie, reside in Benham, KY, and her son,  Mitchell, with wife, Tasha, reside in Partridge, KY. She was also blessed with seven  grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Blair Chapel Church.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Shelby & Zella Mosley, and fur baby, Skeeter.

In addition to her husband and sons, surviving family includes her sister, Louise Hensley, and husband Ray, of Indianapolis, Indiana, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Barbara greatly enjoyed arts and crafts, spending much of her days cross stitching or painting ceramics. She also enjoyed reading mystery novels and watching Hallmark movies. Barbara was a wonderful cook, spending 17 years working at the Cumberland High School cafeteria. She was famous for her chocolate cake, always a favorite at all family gatherings. Barbara's favorite time of year was Christmas, where she absolutely loved decorating her Christmas tree with Snoopy ornaments.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Tri-City Funeral Home in Benham, KY. The funeral will then be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 2 p.m. Michael Blair and David Creech will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Benham Cemetery. Pallbearers will include family and friends.
