Billy Lee Jones, 40, of Evarts passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022, at his home.  Born January 13, 1982, he was a lifelong resident of Harlan County.  Billy believed in the Holiness faith and enjoyed playing the guitar.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Linda Shipman Boyd and Virgil Boyd, Evarts; his father, Edward Jones, Tazewell, TN; a daughter, Chloe Jones, Rose Hill, VA; five sisters, Sandra Partin and husband, Sparky, Kenvir; Shylo Jones, West Virginia; Cheyenne Jones, London, KY; Carrie Jones and Sierra Jones, both of Tazewell, TN; and three brothers, Edward J. Jones, Evarts; Dakota Jones and Jessie Jones, both of Tazewell, TN.  Also surviving are his nieces and nephews, Destinee and Tanner Jones; Timothy, Nathaniel and Patricia Partin; and a host of other family and friends.

His visitation will be held Friday, December 9, 2022, at the Evarts Funeral Home beginning at 12 noon with funeral services to follow at 2 pm.  The Reverend Woody Fields will officiate.

His burial will be in the Cotes Cemetery with his family and friends serving as pallbearers.
