Billy W. Wynn, 73, of Closplint departed this life on Monday, October 10, 2022, at the Harlan Health and Rehab. following a long illness.  Billy was born on March 17, 1949 in Harlan County.  He was a former log scaler for Forest Products.  Billy enjoyed being outdoors and spending time in the mountains.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William G. Wynn and Vera Cooper Wynn; two sisters, Dollie Caudill and Kathy Jones; and a brother, Gerald Wynn.

Left to mourn his passing is his wife of 51 years, Izetta Caudill Wynn, Closplint; two sons, Billy Isom Wynn, Closplint, and Lucas Wayne Wynn and wife, Rebecca, Tom Coal; and a daughter that he loved dearly, Allison Renee Wynn, Closplint.  Also surviving are two sisters, Sheila Baird and her husband, the Reverend Cecil Baird, Corbin; Brandy Wooldridge and husband Travis, Bowling Green; his former daughter-in-law, Cathy Wynn, Grays Knob; five grandchildren, Emily Wynn, Jacob Wynn, Anna Wynn, John-Luke Wynn, Brittany Farley and husband, Anthony; two great-grandchildren, Landon and Jerra Farley; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Due to an illness in the family, the memorial service has been postponed to a later date.
