BJ Robbins, Jr., age 47, of Cawood, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mount Vernon, Kentucky.  He was born in Harlan County on January 24, 1976, to Debra Rolfes Robbins and Billy Robbins, Sr. BJ was a lifelong resident of Harlan County and had been a coal miner for the past fifteen years.

He is preceded in death by his father, Billy; a sister, Karen Robbins; and a brother, Rodney Robbins.

Those left to mourn BJ's passing include his mother, Debra Robbins, of Cawood, KY; two sisters: Donna Jo Collins and Angel B. Robbins, both of Cawood, KY; three nieces: Alyssa Collins, Kylie Collins, Josie Metcalfe; a nephew, Wesley Nathan Metcalfe; special friends: Ken Noe, Carl Grubbs, George Grubbs; as well as a host of extended family members; and many friends.

Visitation for BJ will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024, at the Riverside Church of God from 5:00-9:00pm. The funeral service will be Tuesday, February 20, at 1:00pm at the church with Pastor Franklin Steward and Glen Muncy officiating.

Burial will follow at the Robbins Family Cemetery at Cawood, KY. Family and friends serving as pallbearers.
