Bobby Smith, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 61. Born on August 23, 1965. Bobby spent his life in the warm embrace of family and friends who cherished his gentle spirit and infectious love for life.

Bobby was the cherished son of Helen Saylor (James Saylor) and Daniel Smith, who predeceased him, and a devoted brother, to Darrell Carnahan. His love extended deeply to his nieces, Brittney (Jim Ayers) and Crystal Natividad (Ruben Natividad), who looked up to him with admiration and affection. Bobby also leaves behind his treasured great-nieces, Caterina, Salem (Jasper Lovett), and Seirra and his beloved great-nephews, Yeshua and John, all of whom brought immense joy to his life. Bobby leaves behind multiple cousins as well.

Although Bobby was deaf, he never let that stand in the way of building profound connections with those around him. He was always ready to engage in heartfelt communication with his family and friends, touching their lives with his kindness and warmth. His ability to connect with others went beyond words, as he had an intuitive understanding of the people he loved.

Bobby had a special place in his heart for animals, particularly for cats. His home was always filled with the soft purring of feline companions, who brought him comfort and companionship. His love for animals was just one of the many ways Bobby showed his gentle and caring nature.

Throughout his life, Bobb's close friends, Barbra Dickson and Tanya, stood by him, sharing in his joys and challenges. Their friendship was a testament to the deep bonds that Bobby nurtured throughout his life.

Though Bobby did not have children or grandchildren, his legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew him. His family and friends will remember him for his compassionate spirit, his unwavering love and his ability to bring light into the lives of those around him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Bobby's memory to an organization that supports animal welfare, reflecting his enduring love for animals. Bobby Smith will be profoundly missed but never forgotten, as his memory continues to inspire love and kindness in all who knew him.
