Brenda Maples Blevins, 71, of Cedar Hill, TN passed away peacefully at the Alive Hospice IPU in Nashville on Tuesday, July 19, 2022.  Born December 28, 1950 in Harlan County, she was the oldest daughter of the late Oscar Maples and Merle Agnes Stacy Maples.  As the eldest child, she was always eager to give her family advice.  She enjoyed collecting carnival glass and antiques.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Glen Blevins.

Brenda is survived by her four siblings, Sandra Kelley and husband, Jim, Maryville, TN; Sharon Smith and husband, Robert Wayne, Dizney, KY; Donna Pace and husband, Tommy, Coalgood, KY; and Mark Maples, Evarts, KY.  Also surviving is a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends, including special friends, Monty and Alisha Allsbrooks of Cedar Hill, TN.

Per her request, all services will be private.
