Brenda Kaye Rice Craig, 69, of Pathfork passed away Friday, December 19, 2025, at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard. She was born on December 1, 1956 in Harlan County. Brenda was a retired nurse from Harlan App. Reg. Hospital and The Laurel's in Harlan. She believed in the Pentecostal faith.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Houston Craig; her parents, Eugene Rice and Flora Jane Daniels Rice; and several brothers and sisters.

Brenda is survived by three children, Amanda Pummill and husband, Marlon, Lebanon, OH; Crystal Alexander, Pathfork; and Heather Roark and husband, Brandon, Pathfork. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Caleb Pummill, Grace Pummill, Brianna Craig, Isaiah Peggs, Bryce Roark, Kaylee Roark and Luke Roark.

Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2025, at the Saylor Cemetery, Pathfork with the Reverend James Earl Hensley officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
