Brenda Carol Noe Thomas, age 73, of Rio Vista, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 20, 2023, at her residence with her family by her side. Born April 2, 1949, in Wallins, KY, Brenda was a homemaker and believed in the Pentecostal faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, the Reverend Donald (Don) Lee Thomas; her parents, Ewell Noe and Dola Simpson Noe; two children: Donald (Don Don) Thomas and Charles (Buddy) Thomas; one sister, Mary Lou Lewis; and two brothers: Freddie Eugene Noe and Jessie Wayne Noe.

Brenda is also survived by four brothers: Frank Noe, Harlan, Lester Noe and wife, Celia, Wallins, Ewell Noe, Jr., Wallins, and Lawrence Noe and wife, Darlene, Brooksville, KY; four sisters: Ella Brock and husband, Ronnie, Wallins, Alice Fields and husband, Larry, Wallins, Georgie Sue Lankford and husband, Jack, Clarksville, TN, and Eula Stiver and fiancée, Mitch, Illinois; a given daughter, Amy Hensley and husband, Travis, Wallins; two grandchildren: Alyssa Hensley and Trent Hensley, both of Wallins; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2023, in the chapel of the Loyall Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 2 p.m. Reverend Freeman Clark and Reverend Ronnie Brock will be officiating.

Burial will take place at the Harlan County Memorial Gardens, Tremont, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
