Charles Edward Ledbetter, 86, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away Monday, May 11, 2026, at the Letcher Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Whitesburg, KY. He was born in Dumas, Arkansas on March 14, 1940 to the late George and Luby Lou Martin Ledbetter. He worked at the Lighthouse for the Blind in Little Rock for many years. Later in life, he became a pastor and served as interim preacher for several different churches.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Jo Lewis Robinson; and a son, Russell Ledbetter Cole.

He leaves to mourn his passing his son, Paul Ledbetter Cole of Partridge; three sisters, Joyce Holloway of Little Rock, AR; Sue Webb of Milford, CT; and Marjorie Poole of Collierville, TN; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service for Charles will be Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the Rockvine Baptist Church at 12 PM with the Reverend Jason Caudill officiating.  Interment will follow at the Maggard Cemetery in Partridge with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
