Christopher Leroy Taylor, 61, of Pathfork passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin. He was born on November 9, 1964 in Harlan County. Chris worked as a coal miner for many years and believed in the Holiness faith.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Taylor; one daughter, Leanne Taylor; and one brother, Tim Taylor.

Chris is survived by his mother, Nancy Hensley Estes, Pathfork; two children, Crystal Collins and husband, Zac, Richmond; and Christopher Taylor, Baxter; three brothers, Tony Taylor and Cecilia Brackett, Tremont; Mark Taylor and wife, Lisa, Wallins; and Matt Taylor and wife, Katrenia, Harlan. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Kincaid Collins, Dawson Collins, Baylon Collins, Dalton Taylor and Dillon Pingleton; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2026, at the Pathfork Holiness Church with funeral services starting at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Robert Lee, the Reverend Michael Wilson and Brother Robert Watkins officiating.

Burial will be in the Alva Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
