Christy Michelle Kelly Lamb, 44, of Evarts departed this life on Friday, September 12, 2025, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard.  Born October 16, 1980, she was a lifelong resident of Harlan County.  Christy attended the Kildav Pentecostal Church and enjoyed cleaning her house, listening to music, spending time with her son and running around with and helping care for her mother.

She is preceded in death by her father, Roger Dale Kelly, Sr.; her step-father, Danny Cox; and her grandparents, Lena Louise Dean Napier and Freeman Napier; Christine Napier and Carter Napier; and Pheby Howard Dean and Marion Dean.

Survivors include her husband, John Paul Lamb, Evarts; her son, Christopher Lamb, Evarts; her mother, Judy Ann Napier Cox, Evarts; a brother, Roger Dale Kelly, Jr. and wife, Tonya, Putney; two half-brothers, Roger Lee Kelly, Evarts; Samuel Lee Kelly, Coldiron; a half-sister, Ladonna Kelly and husband, Chris Sturgill, Sunshine; and a host of other family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at the Turner Cemetery in Verda on Wednesday, September 17th at noon with Pastor John Luttrell officiating.
