Clarence Edward Deal, Jr., also known as "Doodle", age 37, passed away at his home on Monday, January 2, 2023.  Born in Harlan, KY on May 16, 1985 to Michelle (Missy) Owens Lewis and Dotsie Deal, Doodle was a lifelong residence of Cumberland. He graduated from Cumberland High School and then began working. He held several different jobs before settling with SEKRI (Southeastern Kentucky Rehabilitation Industries). He enjoyed his job and the people he worked with.

Doodle enjoyed fishing. He loved to laugh, was the life of any party, and always had a smile on his face. He was never a quiet person, loved listening to music, and always made the best of every situation he found himself in. His daughter was the apple of his eye and the two were inseparable. She meant everything to him. He had faith in the Lord, Jesus.

Doodle is preceded in death by his father, Dotsie Deal and three of his grandparents: Helen Deal, R.C. Deal, and Ralph Owens.

Left to cherish his memories and grieve his death are his parents, Leon and Missy Lewis; his two children: Brianna Deal and Blaze Letnoski; his sister, Keli Deal; his brother, Cody Lewis; his wife, Catherine Shepherd Deal; his grandmother, Barbara Owens; nephews: Matthew and Kaden Madon and Zachary Lewis; a host of extended family and many dear friends.

According to Doodle's wishes, he will be cremated and a Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at the Tri City Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3:00-5:00 with the service beginning at 5:00pm.
