Clayton
Miller
Dec 17, 1961 — Nov 17, 2025
Baxter
Earnest "Clayton" Miller, 63, of Baxter, KY, departed this life to be with Jesus on Monday, November 17, 2025, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on December 17, 1961, in Harlan County to the late Ernest Miller and Wilma Jackson Miller.
Clayton was a man of strong character, quiet strength, and steady, non-judgmental morals. He took great pride in caring for his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to all who knew him. He loved his children and grandchildren dearly and enjoyed every moment he spent with them.
He found joy in taking care of his home, often spending hours tending to it. In his leisure time, he enjoyed watching wrestling and listening to gospel music. A firm believer in the Pentecostal faith, he was often found sitting on his front porch, taking in God's beautiful nature.
Clayton spent his working years as a general laborer, devoting his last 15 years to Ross Auto. He lived a simple, meaningful life surrounded by the people he loved, and he was often heard saying that "all he needed was happiness in his life."
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one step-son, John Daniel Jenkins; two brothers, Bobby Ray Miller and Ronnie Daniels; and one sister, Charlene Helton.
Clayton is survived by his wife, Marcia Perkins Miller, Baxter; three children, Brian Clayton Miller and wife, Kimber, Harlan; Teddy King, Jr. and wife, Eliza, Harlan; and Dylan Jenkins and wife, Jordan, Baxter; and one brother, Charlie Miller and wife, Christy, Bledsoe. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, Brian Allen, Leiland Miller, Joshua Miller, Kenzie Madon, Jaxon Madon, Gunner Smith, Hailey King, Amber King Garrett(Cody), Gunnar Jenkins, Caysen Jacobs, Braylan King, Riley Jenkins and Zoey Jenkins; four great-grandchildren, Leann Mitchell, Remi and Gracelyn Garrett, and Pasiley King; and a host of much loved nieces and nephews; and one step-sister, Robin Brewer, Loyall.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday in the chapel of the Loyall Funeral Home.
His funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2025, in the chapel of the Loyall Funeral Home with the Reverend Colby French and the Reverend Terry Baker officiating.
Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery with Brian Miller, Floyd Taylor, Leiland Miller, Josh Miller, Teddy King and John Taylor serving as pallbearers.
