Cora Ann Hicks Noe, 84, of Loyall, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at the Middlesboro App. Reg. Hospital. Born February 17, 1939 in Harlan County, she had lived here all of her life. Cora attended Union College where she got her Bachelor's and Master's Degree in teaching. She later worked as a teacher for the Harlan County School System for many years before retiring. Cora was also a member of the Loyall Church of God and was a Christian for over 60 years. She was a lady that loved everyone and everyone loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Noe; her parents, Hillard Hicks and Jennie White Hicks; her daughter, Mary Ann Noe; her brother, George W. Hicks; and one sister, Ida Mae Lewis.

Survivors include a daughter, Shannon Daniels, Loyall; two grandchildren, Abbygail Belcher and husband, Brody, Molus; and Hayden Daniels, Loyall; She was  so blessed to get to enjoy her two great-grandchildren for only a short few months but she absolutely was so excited when she found out there were two of them and one would carry her name, Cora-Ann Marie Belcher and Elizabeth Reese Belcher. She talked about them all the time and loved to FaceTime them; her bonus grandkids and great-grandkids, Hope, Keri, Brittany, Natalee, Hunter, Carolina, MJ and Kash and a host of special nieces, nephews; and her special friends at the Laurels.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2023, in the chapel of the Loyall Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 1 p.m. with the Reverend Stan Blevins and Reverend Billy Owens officiating.

Her burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery at Keith with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
