Corine Holland Cook, 85, of Baxter passed away Monday, September 9, 2024, at the Princeton Community Hospital in Bluefield, WV. Born October 19, 1938 in Bell County, she was a homemaker and a Christian.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ceph Holland and Carrie Williams Holland; one son, Danny Arthur; three brothers, Charlie Holland, Hershel Holland and Delmer Holland; and two sisters, Evaline Baker and Delphine Hughett.

Corine is survived by three children, Scott Cook and wife, Gina, Ohio; Rhonda Ray and husband, George, West Virginia; and Patrick Cook and wife, Leila, Kentucky; one brother, Eddie Holland and wife, Paulette, Kentucky; and two sisters, Aline Hensley, Ohio; and Hazel Mancilla, Ohio. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Matthew Stephens, Kourtney Stephens and Hanna Cook; four great-grandchildren, Kieran Stephens, Kafhton Stephens, Kaydan Stephens and Gabe Whitney.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, September 16, 2024, in the chapel of the Harlan Funeral Home with her funeral service starting at 1 p.m. with the Reverend Freeman Clark officiating.

Burial will be in the Resthaven Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
