Daniel Ernie Blanton, 65, of Elizabethton, TN, formerly of Molus, KY, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023, at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital in Elizabethton, TN. Born November 22, 1957 in Chicago, IL, he believed in the Pentecostal faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernie Lee Blanton, Sr. and Shirley Ruth Brock Blanton; three brothers, infant, John Blanton, David Wayne Blanton and John Jesse Blanton; and one sister, Claudine Blanton Aker.

Daniel is survived by one brother, Ernie Lee Blanton, Jr. and companion, Karlene Jackson, Harlan; five aunts; and one uncle.
