Daniel Luke Wells, 56, of Kenvir departed this life unexpectedly on Monday, November 27, 2023, at his home.  Born January 18, 1967 in Detroit, Michigan, he had lived in Kenvir for the past 30 years and had been an overnight stock man at Walmart for over 15 years.  He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps, an avid University of Tennessee fan, and enjoyed collecting Coca Cola memorabilia.

Daniel is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Hensley Wells; his parents, Donald Wells and Joan Heyn Wells; and a brother, Donald Wells, Jr.

Survivors include his son, Danny Luke Wells and wife, Melissa, Kenvir; a granddaughter, Pauline Kulp, Kenvir; a sister, Dawn Wells, Knoxville; and a brother, David Wells and wife, Terry, Knoxville.  Also surviving are his nieces and nephews, Rachel Hensley, Patty Purdy, David Wells, Jr., William Wells, Matthew Wells, Violet Bean, Symone Mell and Gabriel Wells; great-nieces and great-nephews, Chris Hensley, David Farley, Anna Farley, Brooklyn Barrett and Sarah Barrett; and a host of other family and friends, including his Walmart work family.

His visitation will be held Thursday from 5 until 8 pm at the Evarts Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 1, 2023, at 2 pm in the chapel of the Evarts Funeral Home with the Reverend Donnie Adkisson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Evarts Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
