Darlene Thomas Niday, 72, of Wallins went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at her residence. Born November 5, 1951 in Wallins, she was co-owner with her husband of Asams Towing Service in Wallins and believed in the Pentecostal faith.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry William Niday; her parents, William Thomas and Flora Wilder Thomas; two sisters, Willa Gholson and Wilma Gamble; 10 brothers, Earl Hensley, Creed Hensley, James Hensley, Charles Thomas, Willard Thomas, Roy Thomas, Don Thomas, Bobby Thomas, Paul Thomas, and Johnny Thomas; son-in-law, Michael Clem; and one special friend, Patricia Griffey.

Left to cherish her memory are her four daughters, Anna Clem, Sabrina Hansel and husband, Lovell, Amy Hensley and husband, Travis, all of Wallins; and Morgan Allen and husband, Richard, Hulen; one brother, Jack Thomas and wife, Vanessa, Tennessee; one sister, Judy Benson, Tennessee; and a sister-in-law, Janie Thomas, Wallins. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Logan Clem, Coty Alred, William "Bam Bam" Hansel, Alyssa Hensley, Trent Hensley; and Hayden Allen; and two great-grandchildren, Holli Alred and Elias Alred.

Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2024, in the chapel of the Loyall Funeral Home with funeral service starting at 2 p.m. with John (Yuhan) Smith officiating.

Burial will be in the Park Howard Cemetery at Wallins with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers the family request that all donations go to Loyall Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
