Della Bates Martin, 72, of Teetersville went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at her residence. Born October 18, 1949 in Harlan County, she was a homemaker and a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Martin; her parents, Maynard Bates and Flora Tolliver Bates; and several brothers and sisters.

Della is survived by three children, Roger Wayne Martin, Catrons Valley; Billy Martin, Harlan; and Melissa Combs and husband, John, Lexington. Also surviving are five grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at the Immanuel Baptist Church with services starting at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Arnold Martin officiating.

Burial will be in the Evarts Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
