Dianne Simpson O'dell, 74, of Shepherdville, KY, formerly of Harlan County, passed away Friday, March 28, 2025, at the Kindred Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was born January 17, 1951 on Pine Mountain. Dianne was a homemaker and believed in the Baptist faith.

Dianne was preceded in death by her husband, Gary O'dell; her parents, Vernon Simpson and Sudie Collins Simpson; her daughter, Andrea Michelle Simpson Dzuiban Fulton; one brother, Vernon K. Simpson, Jr.; one sister, Lydia Joyce Simpson Gaw; one grandchild; and one brother-in-law, Paul David Hansel.

She is survived by two children, Gwen O'dell, Hopkinsville, KY; Logan O'dell, Louisville; one sister, Nancy Louise Simpson Hansel, Rosspoint; eight grandchildren; brother-in-law, Clarence Gaw; and several nieces and nephews.
