Donna Adams, 72, of Totz, passed away peacefully Friday, October 20, 2023, at her brother's home, in Whitesburg, KY. She was born  in Letcher county to the late William Taylor and Lake Erie Tyree Taylor. Donna was a beautician in Cumberland for several years before she worked in the medical records department for Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital, where she retired in 2011.

Donna is preceded in death by her father, William N. Taylor; her mother, Lake Erie Tyree Taylor; her loving husband, of 48 years, Dean Adams; two brothers, Earl Taylor; Verlon Taylor; and a sister, Gleeda Baker.

She leaves to cherish her memory her two step-sons, William Adams, of Lexington; Kevin Pitta and wife, Deana, of Idaho; three brothers, Wendell Taylor and wife, Linda, of Whitesburg; Kenneth Taylor and wife, Pam, of Isom; Winsford Taylor and wife, Jane, of Hurricane, WV; a sister Shirley Lucas, of Whitesburg; her fur babies, Gray, Midnight, Big Girl, little girl, Blackey, Tommy and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Don't weep for me, I have gone home with Jesus My Savior.

Visitation will be Monday, October 23, 2023, from 5 to 8 PM at the Tri City Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at 12 PM, at the Totz Missionary Baptist Church with the Reverend David Jones officiating. Interment will follow at the Jacob Creech Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
