Donnie Paul Coots, 61, of Lejunior, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at the Harlan Health and Rehab following a long illness.  Donnie was born on March 24, 1961 to the late Estil and Della Coots.  He was a member of the King's Chapel Assembly of God.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Bernice Coots Russell; two brothers, Joel Coots and David Coots; and two brothers-in-law, L.P. Fleenor and Joe Elliott.

Donnie is survived by five sisters, Catherine Fleenor, Lejunior; Maxine Lunsford and Robert Vaughn, Evarts; Evelyn Elliott, Lejunior; Mattie Day and husband, Jerry, Lejunior; Anita Taylor and husband, Steve, Corbin;  three brothers, Matthew Coots and wife, Doris, Lejunior; Titus Coots, Verda; and Timothy Coots and wife, Tina, Lejunior; a sister-in-law, Tammy Coots, Lejunior; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends, including a special friend, Missy Witt.

His visitation will be Friday and Saturday from5 until 8 pm at the Evarts Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 21, 2022, at 1 pm in the Chapel of the Evarts Funeral Home with the Reverend Janice Fulkerson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Evarts Memorial Gardens with his family and friends serving as pallbearers.
