Floyd Edward "Eddie Bug" Taylor, Jr., 69, of Pathfork departed this life on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at his home following a long illness.  Born November 17, 1952, he was a lifelong resident of the Pathfork area.  Eddie Bug was a retired coal miner having worked for RB Coal Company.  Before his health declined, he had enjoyed coon hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruby Kincaid Taylor and Floyd Edward Taylor, Sr.; two sisters, Lois Howard and Mary Louise Kincaid; a brother, Earl Kincaid; and a brother-in-law, Jim Hoskins.

Survivors include two children, Cindy Lou Kinder and husband, Michael, Hulen; and Floyd Edward "Buddy" Taylor, III and girlfriend, Jodi Taylor, Pathfork; and four sisters, Elva Ellison and husband, Don, Texas; Carolyn Craig and husband, Austin, Hulen; Doris Hoskins, Louisville; and Virginia "Sissy" Taylor and husband, Boyd, Wallins.  Also surviving are five grandchildren, T.J. Bailey, Megan Massey, Aaron Kinder, Dewayne Kinder and Roman Taylor; twelve great-grandchildren, McKenna Grace Bailey, Mason Lee Dewayne Bailey, Addalynn Ann Bailey, Bronson Nathaniel Massey, Izabelle Grace Massey, Braylon Kade Massey, Tianna Kinder, Erin Kinder, Trinity Kinder, Brooklyn Kinder, Bentley Kinder and Peyton Kinder; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends, including a special friend that was like a son to him, Neil Daniels.

His visitation will be held Friday, August 5, 2022, beginning at 4 pm at the Pathfork Holiness Church.  Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 3 pm at the Church with Pastor Michael Wilson officiating.

His burial will follow at the Taylor Family Cemetery at Pathfork with his family and friends serving as pallbearers.
