Gary Warren Goins Sr., 74, of Lynch passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Harlan on October 26, 1950, to the late Bart and Margaret Elizabeth Hughes Goins. Gary was a retired commander of the VFW. He served his country in the United States Airforce during the Vietnam War.  He had a kind heart and loved helping people.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by six siblings: Howard, Marvin, Bart, Walter, Betty and Sue.

He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife, Anita Kron Goins of Lynch; three children, Gary Warren  Goins Jr.; Seth Evan Goins; and Maggie Ann Goins, all of Lynch; three brothers, Bob Goins and wife, Vickie, of Lynch, KY/Tallahassee, FL; Curtis Goins and wife, Patricia, of La Grange, KY; Allen Goins and wife, Angela, of Berea; one sister, Sharon Nesmith and husband, Jerry, of Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no service at this time.
