Hattie Bernice Blevins Cook, 69, of Ages, passed away Monday, June 24, 2024, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. She was born August 23, 1954 to the late Burley Blevins and Odie Crider Saylor. Hattie was known for her love of sewing and making clothes for many years. She loved the simple things in life. The love she showed her family, friends and customers throughout the years will always be remembered along with her big smile whenever she saw someone.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Vollie, Harley, and Everett Blevins.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Henry Cook of Ages; two children, Christopher Haught and wife, April of Ages; and Jennifer Haught Lloyd of Nashville; two step-children, Jerry Henry Cook of Urbana, Ohio; and Shaunda Brown of Jacksonville, Florida; one brother, Lewis Blevins and wife, Elizabeth of London; four sisters, Wanda Morgan of Columbus, GA; Barbara Pace and friend, David Bowser of Ashland, Ohio; Thelma Blevins of Ages; and Judy B Howard and husband, Bill of Harlan; a special aunt, Marilyn Stewart of Ages; and a special uncle, Claude Crider of Detroit, Michigan. Also surviving are eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

A service celebrating Hattie's life will be conducted on July 13, at 2:00 pm, in the chapel of Evarts Funeral Home.
