Helen Ruth Price Blevins, 77, of Evarts, departed this life on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. Born December 17, 1946 in Highsplint, she had lived here all of her life. Helen was a homemaker and enjoyed crafting. She believed in the Holiness faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Violet Sweeney Price and Tom Price; her son, James Price; her first husband, Alvin Bowman; and her second husband, Sampson Blevins, Jr.; her sister, Kathleen Hoskins; and two brothers, Clark and Phillip Price.

Survivors include a brother, Kyle Price, Ortonville, MI; and a host of other family and friends.

No service will be held for Mrs. Blevins.
