Izetta Caudill
Wynn
Sep 6, 1953 — Oct 29, 2022
Closplint
Izetta Caudill Wynn, 69, of Closplint, reunited with her love, Billy, on Saturday, October 29, 2022, a short 19 days after his passing. Born September 6, 1953, to the late Isom Caudill and the late Delilah Ray Caudill, she was a lifelong resident of Harlan County. Izetta met Billy and the pair became inseparable. They were married on August 20, 1971, and spent the rest of their lives together. Before the decline of her health, Izetta enjoyed working with children and was able to do so as an in-class aide for K.C.E.O.C. Head Start for more than 15 years. Her love for children could be seen in the way that she cared for and helped so many during her career. The true impact that she had on the lives of so many may never be known. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all that knew her. Izetta was a member of the Closplint Church of God.
In addition to her husband and parents, Izetta is preceded in death by two brothers, Boyd Caudill and Kainer Caudill.
Survivors include three children, Billy Isom Wynn, Closplint; Lucas Wayne Wynn and wife, Rebecca, Tom Coal; and a very special daughter that she loved and cherished, Allison Renee Wynn, Closplint; a former daughter-in-law, Cathy Wynn, Grays Knob; one brother, Isom Caudill and wife, Virginia, Keokee; and one sister, Maryetta Combs and husband, Seldon, Putney; five grandchildren, Brittany (Anthony) Farley, Jacob Wynn, Anna Wynn, Emily Wynn and John-Luke Wynn; two great-grandchildren, Jerra Farley and Landon Farley; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
A service celebrating the lives of both Izetta and Billy will be held Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 5 pm at the Closplint Church of God with Reverend Frank Howard, Reverend Stevie Sizemore and Reverend Cecil Baird officiating.
Evarts Funeral Home is honored to serve the Wynn family.
