Jackaline "Jackie" Cornett, age 71, of Gordon passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on May 4, 1954 to the late Eli Sparkman and Evelyn Boggs Cornett.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Cornett; and four sisters, Pat, Peggy and Jettie Cornett and Yvonne Sparkman.

She leaves to mourn her passing her partner, Gary Cochran; her children, Travis Cook and wife, Jenny, of Gordon; Christy Lenge and husband, Nathan, of Iowa; three brothers, Samuel Sparkman and wife, Sally, of Gordon; Eli Sparkman and wife, Ruby, of Gordon; George Sparkman and wife, Jenny, of Radcliffe; two sisters, Judy Fields and husband, John, of Gordon; Lucille Beale and husband, Don, of Friendsville, TN; three grandchildren, Chloe, Aaron and Jaxon Cook, all of Gordon; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025, at the Sparkman Family Cemetery in Gordon at 1 PM with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
