Jackie Hall, 67, of Evarts, passed away Monday, March 20, 2023, at his residence. Born July 21, 1955 in Harlan County, he had lived here most of his life. Jackie was a retired coal miner and believed in the Baptist faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Hall and Elma Bentley Hall; three brothers, Clayton and Danny Hall and Arvis Presley.

Survivors include four children, Michael Hall and wife, Heather, Dayhoit, KY; Jackie D. Hall and wife, Sabrina, Gallatin, TN; and Jessica Hall, Ashley Deaton all of Bean Station, TN; two sisters, Caroline Hicks and husband, James, East Bernstadt, KY; and Michelle Saylor, Manchester, KY; his companion, Janet, Evarts; five grandchildren, Klarrissa, Kanyon, Kalley, Isaiah and Taylor Hall; one great-grandchild, Xander Hall; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5 until 8 pm at the Evarts Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 2 pm in the Chapel of the Evarts Funeral Home with Pastor John Luttrell officiating.

Burial will follow in the Right Hollow Cemetery at Bailey's Creek with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
