James "Jamie" Everett Creech, 49, of Harrogate, TN left this life unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at his residence. He was born in Harlan on May 17, 1976 to James Gregory and Debra Ball Gilliam. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Gregory Gilliam; a daughter, Hanna Rose Creech; two uncles, Charles Ball and Carl Bowling; his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Wilma Jean Creech; and paternal grandparents, Troy and Sarah McIlquham.

Jamie leaves to mourn his passing his mother, Debra Ball Gilliam; his four children, Joseph Bradley Creech, Shelby Lynn Creech, Isabella Jean Creech and Brantley Creech; an aunt, Lena "Chick" Foutch and husband, Sam; two uncles, Darrell Ball and wife, Debra; and TJ McIlquham; two special friends, Roamy Helton and Anna Day; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, April 27, 2026, from 5 to 8 pm at the Tri City Funeral Home. His funeral service will be Tuesday at 1 pm with Jamie Sergent officiating.  Interment will follow at the Sandhill Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
