Jay Dee Daniels, 63, of Hulen passed away Friday, December 8, 2023, at his residence. Born February 1, 1960 in Bell County, he was a truck driver for many years and believed in the Pentecostal faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hobert Daniels and Ruby Scott Daniels.

Jay is survived by his wife, Sherri Roark Daniels, Hulen; three children, Niccole Jones and husband, Clifford, Pathfork; Jacob Daniels and wife, Jill, Morgantown, KY; and Joshua Kinder and wife, Justina, Barbourville; four brothers, Cam Bug Scott and wife, Shari, Bowling Green, KY; Ronnie Daniels and wife, Rose, Coldiron; Rick Daniels and wife, Diane, Pathfork; and William Daniels and wife, Crystal, Hulen; and two sisters, Caroline Lee and husband, Robert, Smith; and Darlene Rice, Pathfork. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, William, Matthew, Kaylee, Kianna, Jaxon, Gracie,  Ashlynn and Isaiah; and one great-grandchild; special friends, Kellie, Kitty, Heather and Samantha that were his nurses that came to his house over the years; and his best friend since childhood, Larry Henderson.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the Saylor Cemetery at Pathfork with Reverend Robert Lee officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
