Jeanette Dean Holbrook, 56, of Coxton went to her heavenly home on Monday, April 28, 2025, following a courageous battle against cancer.  Born June 14, 1968, she had lived in Harlan County most of her life. Jeanette was a faithful member of the Coxton Faith Tabernacle where she had attended for over 30 years.  She loved to diamond paint, spend time with her grandchildren, and go to the flea market with her husband, Delmar.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Billy Dean and Geraldine Johnson Dean; a grandson, Joshua Holbrook; a sister, Marsha Karen Delph; and a half-sister, Pheme Johnson.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years and 4 months, Delmar Holbrook, Coxton; three children, Christy Marie Holbrook, Coxton; Jonathan Dewayne Holbrook and wife, Carla, Coxton; Brittany Leann Holbrook and fiancé, David Barnett, Bell County; two step-children, Delmar Jerome "DJ" Holbrook, Michigan; and Robert "Robbie" Henderson Holbrook, Coxton; and four sisters, Barbara Short and husband, Cheyenne, Closplint; Alice Perkins-Davis and husband, Jim, Leslie County; Aileen Adkins and husband, Randy, Coxton; and Sheila Dean of Hazard.  Also surviving are five grandchildren, Luke, Molly, Waylon and Wyatt Holbrook, and Slade Barnett; one great-granddaughter, Kaylee Holbrook; and a host of nieces, nephews, and her church family at Coxton Faith Tabernacle.

Her visitation will be held Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at the Coxton Faith Tabernacle beginning at 12 noon with funeral services to follow at 4 pm.  The Reverend Stan Nicely and the Reverend Perry Long will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Evarts Memorial Gardens with her family and friends serving as pallbearers.
