Jerry Wayne Fultz, 67, of Baxter passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at his residence with his family by his side. Born on May 8, 1952 in Harlan County, Jerry had lived here most of his life.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Delorse Ann Fultz; his parents, Luther Fultz and Dorothy Sargent Fultz; two brothers, Clayton Fultz and Luther Fultz, Jr.; and one sister, Tammi Fultz.

Jerry is survived by a daughter, Melody Slusher and husband, Eric; 11 brothers, Randy, Allen, Michael, Jeff, Steve, Tim, Fred, Earl, Jack, Bob and Douglas; six sisters, Jean Maas, Sandra Mullins, Diana Helton, Florence Perssinger, Emily Fultz and Georgie Fultz; and one grandson, Nathan Slusher.

Also surviving are special friends, L.C. Brown, Dennis Bonham, Helen Roberts and Delmar Cole.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the Baxter First Baptist Church with a Memorial Service following at 8 p.m. Forrest Gordon will be officiating.
