Jerry Wayne Williams, Sr., 64, of Dayhoit, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2024, at his residence. Born November 29, 1959 in Harlan County, he worked as a coal miner for many years and was a Christian.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Williams and Ruby Webb Williams; and two brothers, Lawrence Henry Williams and Charles Williams.

Jerry is survived by his wife, of almost 40 years, Brenda Clark Williams, Dayhoit; two children, Jerry Wayne Williams, Jr. and fiancé, Angela, Dayhoit and Jordan Williams, Baxter; two brothers, Tom Williams, Dayhoit and Terry Williams and wife, Sheila, Coldiron; and four sisters, Freda Saylor and husband, Steve, Mary Middleton and Winnifred Williams, all of Dayhoit; and Charletta Chappell and husband, Todd, Hyden, KY. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Dalton Williams, Weston Williams, Brynlee Williams and Grayson Combs; and a special friend, Doug Asher.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2024, in the chapel of the Loyall Funeral Home.
