Jessie Caldwell Muncy, 80, of Wallins went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at the Harlan App. Reg. Hospital with her family by her side. She was born on August 23, 1942 in Leslie County. She was a dispatcher for the Wallins Fire Department for 15 years and believed in the Holiness faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Muncy; her parents, Eli Caldwell and Mahaley Brock Caldwell; two children, Treva Gail Muncy and Altha Lynn Muncy; two brothers, Harold Caldwell and Thea Caldwell; and three sisters, Della Caldwell, Leona Caldwell and Freda Caldwell Thomas.

Jessie is survived by one brother, Berton Caldwell, Keith; and one sister/caregiver, Faye Vaughn, Wallins. Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2022, in the chapel of the Loyall Funeral Home with funeral services starting at 6 p.m. with the Reverend Jeremy Blevins officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in the Park Howard Cemetery, Wallins with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
