Johnny
Halcomb
Apr 26, 1963 — Aug 25, 2026
Lynch
Johnny Halcomb, 63, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at the Pikeville Medical Center, surrounded by family. He was born in Harlan on April 26, 1963, to the late Arthur G and Nancy Jo Miracle Halcomb. Johnny was a kind and loving soul who never met a stranger and had a heart big enough for everyone. He loved people deeply and would gladly give you anything he had if you needed it. His greatest joy was his family, and he lived for family gatherings, cherishing every opportunity to be surrounded by the people he loved.
He had a special love for the outdoors, where he found peace and happiness, and his dogs held a very special place in his heart-especially Sheba. Above all, he loved his family with everything he had. His kindness, generosity, gentle spirit, and unconditional love will be remembered by all who knew him and will remain forever in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a brother, Charles E. Halcomb; a sister-in-law, Jean Halcomb; and a brother-in-law, Robert "Butch" Cole.
He leaves to mourn his passing his siblings, Donna Gilliam and husband, Rick, of Lynch; Billy Halcomb and wife, Teresa, of Cumberland; Tammy Cole of Lynch; David Halcomb and wife, Charity, of Goshen, IN; and Ruby Henery of Lynch; a special great-niece, Blakely; a special friend, Terri Halcomb Roark; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be at the Tri City Funeral Home on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 5 pm to 7 pm. His funeral will follow at 7pm with the Pastor Bryan Greene officiating.
