It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jonathan Wade Raleigh of West Union, South Carolina, formerly of Cumberland, KY, who passed away after valiantly battling cancer, on January 30, 2026, at the age of 73.

He was predeceased by his parents, Henry "Marvis" Raleigh and Vivian Fouts Raleigh; his brothers, David Raleigh, Sr. and Leland Raleigh; and his granddaughter Julianne Lawrence.

He is survived by his wife Tammy Raleigh, his children, Stephanie Raleigh Lawrence (Matt) of Greenville, SC, Dianna Raleigh Tibbitts (Beau) of Trempealeau, Wisconsin, Arizona Raleigh Black (Stephen) of Winder, Georgia, Christopher Raleigh of Seneca, SC, and Brittany Raleigh Chappell (Shane) of Seneca, SC; grandchildren, Miguel Gutierrez and Claudia Gutierrez Moedjio (Lucky), Dylan, MacKenzie, and Katelyn Lawrence, Isabella and Logan Tibbetts, Emilie and Parker Black, Bentley and Levi Chappell. His siblings, Sheliah Raleigh and Sharon Raleigh Kennedy (David) all of Cumberland, Kentucky, and Phillip Raleigh (Monica) of Springfield, Missouri, a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends, also survive.

His visitation will be Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the Tri City Funeral Home from 4pm until 6 pm. Military honors will be performed by the Harlan Honor Guard.

The family will have a private ceremony to scatter his ashes from Jonathan's favorite mountaintop overlook on Sunday, March 15, 2026. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cottingham Hospice House 390 SC-188 Seneca, SC 29672 In Jonathan's memory.
