Joseph E. Soltess, 64 of Partridge, passed away Monday, April 14, 2025 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born in Lynch, KY on May 26, 1960 to the late Mike  and Helen Palko Soltess. Joseph attended Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College where he received his Associates in Business degree. He worked for SEKRI factory for 17 years after college. In his spare time he loved fishing and listening to music.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Soltess, and a sister, Diane Ball.

He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife of 17 years, Pamela Pennington Soltess of Partridge; a daughter, Kerrie Nichole Poff and husband, Nick, of Cumberland; three sisters, Cathy Sweazey and husband, Dan, of North Carolina; Mary Kay Stallard and husband, Doug, of Knoxville, TN; Joanne Monhollen of Knoxville, TN; two granddaughters, Dessaray and Brianna Poff; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
