Juanita Ann Deal, 75 of Cumberland passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the Pikeville Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born on January 7, 1950 in Cumberland, to the late Henry and Ava Irene Cress Lowery. Ann was a beautician and was owner and operator of Town and Country Hair Salon for 35 years. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. In her free time, she loved doing yardwork, especially tending to her flowers. She enjoyed baking and cooking huge meals for her family.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her two brothers, Williard and Charles Lowery.

She leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband of 54 years, Jimmy Wayne Deal of Cumberland; two daughters, Lori Hodge and husband, Shannon; Christy Huff and husband, Scott, all of Cumberland; two sisters, Betty Brock (Glenn) of Appalachia, VA; Libby Cornett (Larry) of Cumberland; a granddaughter, Harley Huff of Cumberland; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday and Monday from 5 to 8 pm in the chapel of the Tri City Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be at 1 pm Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at the funeral home with Elder Glenn Cornett officiating. Interment will follow at the Benham Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
