Judy Gwendolyn Hale Tippett, 71, of Cumberland passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at her home. She was born in Cumberland on November 6, 1953 to the late Homer Lowell Hale and Elsie Elizabeth Harris Hale. Judy loved her family, her cats and her many friends.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Glen Tippett; two sons, Ronnie Wayne Tippett and Lonnie Joe Tippett; four brothers, Lowell Hale, David Hale, William Jeffrey Hale and Roger Hale.

She leaves to mourn her passing her sister, Lisa Sisk and husband, David, of Hilton Head Island, SC; two granddaughters, Destiny Tippett and Cameron Brock both of Cumberland; two great-grandchildren, Avaleigh Blas and Azelyn Tippett, both of Cumberland; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

The family wishes to thank her medical providers, Hospice of the Bluegrass and those friends who provided her care and companionship. Her granddaughter, Cameron, became her primary support and caretaker allowing her to pass at her home, which was Judy's wish.

A memorial service may be planned at a later time.
