Junior Paul Fields, 75, of Totz, KY passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born in Harlan County on June 25, 1948, to the late Jarvis and Alma Halcomb Fields.  He was a retired coal miner from Scotia Coal Mines. Junior was a loving dad and grandfather and was a member of the Totz Baptist Church and ECCO Chapel in Letcher County.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Fields; brothers, Edward, Hershel, Willie, and  Ray Fields; sisters, Alberta Rivers, Nancy Aslinger, Marie Fields, Lillian Sanders, Hazel Childers, Maudie Lucas;, and grandparents, Wilson Halcomb and Lu Creech.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Norma Cavins Fields; children, Junior Dale Fields and wife, Polly; Paul Edward Fields and wife, Christine; a brother, David Fields; a sister, Jewel Burton; grandchildren, Justin Lee Fields and Bradley Donovan Fields; great grandchildren, Brantley Fields; Aralynn and Charity Smith; Katlynn Halcomb; Kalie Adams; Rayna, Micheal, Aden and  Luna Edens; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

His visitation will be Friday, May 31. 2024, from 11-1 PM at the Tri City Funeral Home. His funeral service will follow with the Reverend Darrell Caudill officiating. Interment will follow at the Peaceful  Acres Cemetery at Hiram, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
