Katherine Lynn Caldwell, 51, of Middlesboro went to her heavenly home on Friday, February 24, 2023, at the UK Markey Cancer Center following a courageous battle.  Born July 11, 1971 in Harlan County, she was a caregiver for the Cumberland River Comp Care.  Katherine graduated from Evarts High School and was a member of the Church of the Living God.  She enjoyed staying home and spending time with her family.

Katherine is preceded in death by her parents, Mary Ann Gay Blevins and Louis Blevins; a sister, Janie Blevins; her mother-in-law, Molly Caldwell; and her brother-in-law, J.R. Caldwell.

Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Robert Caldwell, Middlesboro; three children, Nick Caldwell and his girlfriend, Brelyn Phillips, Kaitlin Caldwell and her fiancé, Bobby Ortiz, and Noah Caldwell, all of Middlesboro; three sisters, Flossie Middleton and husband, Melt Henry, Jones Creek; Ella Stump, Eastbrook; Delores "Dee" Smith and husband, Robert, Evarts; and a brother, Harvey Napier and wife, Linda, Verda.  Also surviving is her father-in-law, Robert Caldwell, Sr., Cranks, KY; brothers-in-law, Malcolm Caldwell and wife, Rosie, and Jared Caldwell; her sister-in-law, Krista Breedin; her furbabies, Spencer, Nut-nut,  Emily and Remington; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Her visitation will be held Monday from 5 until 8 pm at the Evarts Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 1 pm in the Chapel of the Evarts Funeral Home with the Reverend Paul Dean, the Reverend William Baker and the Reverend Jerry Kirby officiating.

Burial will follow in the Evarts Memorial Gardens with her family and friends serving as pallbearers.
