Kevin Ray Bell, 59, of Dayhoit, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born July 4, 1965, to the late James Earl and Blanch Lovin Bell, in Morristown, Tennessee; where he lived most of his life until moving to Harlan County. Kevin was a simple man and a very kind-hearted person. He loved spending time with his family and friends and going fishing with his buddies. Kevin was a coal miner and worked his last years for the Bledsoe Coal Corporation before becoming disabled.

In addition to his parents, Kevin is preceded in death by a brother, Gary Bell.

Survivors include his loving wife of 20 years, Vickie Voci Bell of Dayhoit; a daughter, Krista Gross and husband, Derrick, of Dayhoit; three brothers, Ricky Bell; Roger Bell and wife, Cindy; and Donny Bell and wife, Dorthy, all of Tennessee; two grandchildren, Rylynn and Weston Gross of Dayhoit; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

To honor his wishes, no services have been planned.
